WhistlePig’s CampStock wheat whiskey is a limited edition blend of 85% wheat whiskey and 15% straight rye whiskey. The flavor profile has notes of citrus, freshly toasted bread crust, and vanilla for a well-rounded finish. Personally, I love whiskey with noticeable hints of citrus and vanilla, and this one is right up my alley.
The blend is one thing, but it’s the barrel that gives this blend its signature flavor that sets it apart from other Whistlepig varieties. Toast W6 and a Number 1 char come together in American oak barrels evoking a campfire feel to the flavor.
