It is perfect for potted plants, holds moisture and nutrients while providing great aeration to the plant soil, and promotes faster root growth.
Soil Improvement: Vermiculite is a natural organic horticultural soil conditioner that improves moisture and nutrient retention. It adds porosity to soil and soilless mixes, prevents soil compaction, provides excellent aeration, and drainage. Vermiculite allows soil to retain maximum moisture and nutrients for later use, and it assists with drainage and aeration for soil
Aerates Soil: Vermiculite creates space for plant roots to expand and grow, and it allows excess water to drain away from roots. Horticultural super coarse vermiculite is a natural ‘wicking’ mineral that attracts and holds ammonium, potassium, calcium, and magnesium needed for the growing plants.
