FertiGlu (Fertilizer-Glue) is a fertilizer biostimulant with micronutrients containing natural Biocar sticker properties, used with foliar sprays on fruits, vegetables, horticulture, turf, soils, and other vegetation. Since the product is cereal-based, FertiGlu enhances micronutrient absorption through sustained-release, thereby minimizing run-off, providing UV protection and weatherability of the sprayed materials. For over 20 years, Biosorb has been manufacturing organic products made from Biocar microsponges that are sold by professional distributors in the USA and international markets to keep applied treatments from washing-off during rain events or heavy irrigation. These products are commonly used in waterways to make treatments stick to aquatic weeds and algae, as well as in golf courses, wholesale nurseries, and organic food production. Due to its low toxicity, the natural plant-based formulation the Biocar technology is utilized by major aquatic districts, counties, parks/wildlife and government agencies to protect treatments from running-off, thus reducing contamination. Organic vegetable and fruit growers have been applying FertiGlu in tropical rainforest climates, as well as in drier climates to maintain treatments on plants reducing the number of sprays and to protect treatments from environmental stress.
