TDS Meter and pH Meter
TDS are the amount of organic and inorganic materials, such as metals, minerals, and salts, dissolved in a particular volume of water; TDS is essentially a measure of anything dissolved in water that is not an H2O molecule.It measures as parts per million (ppm). According to the EPA secondary drinking water regulations, 500 ppm is the recommended as an extremely maximum amount of TDS for your drinking water. Any measurement higher than 1000 ppm is an unsafe level of TDS. 3-Point Calibration
The pH meter has been calibrated before delivery, you have no need to re-calibrate it after receiving your meter any more.We will also provide the instruction for recalibrating the meter in case you would like to use it after a quite long period .
Quickly and accurately calibrate pH meters
1. Before calibration, add pH4.00/pH6.86/pH9.18 buffer powder to a container with 250ml distilled water and stir until the powder is completely dissolved
2. Press the “ON/OFF” key to turn on the pH meter and switch to pH mode
3. Put the electrode into the pH6.18 standard solution and wait for the reading to stabilize (usually 5~10 seconds)
4. Press and hold the MODE/CAL key for 6 seconds and release it until the pH6.18 reading no longer flashes and the pH6.18. calibration is complete.
5. Repeat the above steps to complete the pH4.00/pH9.18 calibration in sequence.
NOTE: Always strictly follow the calibration sequence of pH6.18, pH4.00, pH9.18. Otherwise, the calibration result will be inaccurate.
