AstroGrove was founded decades ago in a small country side town in New Jersey. Manufacturing Phase

We believe in organics and our bodies well-being. That is why at AstroGrove, we have banned all sorts of harsh chemicals from our manufacturing phase. We always wash our coco husk with distilled water.

AstroGrove Production

AstroGrove supplies quality coconut coir from around the world. We use coconut husk to manufacture our coco coir. Our coco husk is sourced from India, Philippines, and Mexico. We thrive to be 100% Carbon Neutral. All of our manufacturing plants and family farm is powered by renewable energy.

Very Low EC Levels. (0.3-0.8) 2 phase wash with distilled water Ability to retain 98% of all nutrients. Never Clumps up. Meaning your plant’s roots are treated to the best aeration. Sponge like technology. Able to retain more water and Nutrients.

Step 1

Put the brick in a large container – remember that the brick will expand five to seven times once hydrated, so ensure you choose a large enough container.

Step 2

Cover the brick with warm water. Bricks can be bought in several different weights – a good rule of thumb when deciding how much water to add is 1.5 gallons per 1.5lb brick.

Step 3

Allow the water to absorb for at least 15 minutes.

Step 4

Once absorbed, fluff the coco coir up until it resembles the ideal soil-like consistency.
