¼ inch montmorillonite clay. Kiln fired at 2000 degrees.

Intended Use

Applications include: Bonsai soil ingredient, gritty mix ingredient for other plants and/or to increase drainage and acidity in your potting soil.

Instructions

Use as a gritty mix soil additive or top dressing for cosmetic purposes. Mix with other ingredients to create a complete gritty mix for your specific plant.

Features

Highly acidic ingredient used to improve nutrient uptake. Screened between 1/8th and 3/8ths inch for a ¼ inch average Particle size. Bag sizes range from 2 quarts to 28 gallons.

Similar properties of hard Akadama.
Uniform 1/4 inch Particle size prevents dry spots, poor drainage and settling.
